Periodic table meme

How many elements can you name in 15 minutes?  I'm embarassed to say, only 47 here.

62, missed some ones I really ought to have got.

Interested to see how [livejournal.com profile] sciolist and [livejournal.com profile] simoneck do on this one.

54 - even with occasional kibbitzing from Lera. I missed some awfully easy ones too, and spent far too long trying unsuccessfully to spell Mendeleyevium.

That's horrible. Only 42 here. Or maybe that's a sign in itself as i definitely should have remembered at least 30 I missed.

You'd have got more if you'd spelled it correctly the first time?

I missed chromium and molybdenum ffs :(

I thought an element was something that went in a kettle...

Um. Only 57 without cheating. I have really weird gaps too - got Germanium, missed Selenium, nearly didn't get Phosphorus. Could do better.

30 in 7 minutes, then got frustrated and fed-up. I only got Tin because of a typo when I was putting Tungsten in. Rubbish.

How? My brain hits Unobtanium and bogs down in a trench.

I always was more of an organic chemist.
Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, huuummmmm.....
