Distance riding is quite easy - you need to build up the distance in sensible chunks. 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 miles, that sort of thing. Make sure the bike's comfortable and look to your food and hydration (Ant will tell you how grim it was when he dried up on the London Tri). I find the best way is to ride out to a pub! :)
