Not that I didn't fall into Swallownumpty Mire up to the hip (the ghost of Bob Sinclair watching, hands in pockets, in wellies). Or pitch my wretched rag in a swamp. Oh no. You know what, when the locals in the Slaughtered Lamb said "keep to t'path, lad" they weren't fucking wrong.
On the upside, I am SO happy to be back in civilization, it was an adventure, and Vibram Fivefingers are awesome light hiking shoes, lots of fun boulder-scrambling and bog-schlurping.
