Bloody Gmaps Pedometer!
Ran the long loop and I swear it's recording as half a mile shorter than I think it is. That makes the run 4.5 miles and my pace time 9:50/mile, which is slow and worse, as slow as last year. I can see where that extra twenty minutes came from, now. Bugger. Observations:
1) It's about at the end of that that I need a boost - water and a gel.
2) A bit stiff at the start, do a couple of hundred yards of warmup stuff first.
3) That went nicely on a very empty stomach - nothing for 4h.
