How to waste your evening on Google Earth
1: Visit all your old houses in order. I'm kinda glad that Cowper Road is still standing, but what the hell, the place I grew up -- they demolished the factory? Turn on the Flickr and Panoramio layers for maximum notsalgia.
2: The Youtube layer is just utter lifesuck death. But it tells me one thing: People are the same the world over. Granted, people are mostly lame, but they're the same sort of kinda-funny kinda-annoying lame. Country, colour, creed, it's trivial compared to the uniting power of looking like an ass on the internet.

It looks weird. Like a fake Wolvercote that someone knocked together but missed out an important landmark because it was so much of the background that nobody ever mentioned it.
There is no justice.

It was semi-derilict, with a roof you could see the sky through, no bathroom, no kitchen and all the stirs needed replacing. Plus a total redecorate from the bricks out.
If we all clubbed together we would not be able to afford the squalid hole you used to fester in as students.
Depressing thought really.
Re: There is no justice.
In fact, looking around at all the ex-Cowper Roadies now, I think it was only squalid because I used to live in it.
