It isn't easy having style

Dilemma: The bathroom is actually coming along, with the tiling done.  Soon I shall be invincible able to shower!  Which means I need to get a shower curtain.  The design of the room tends toward a nice spartan curtain: clear with a frosted band, maybe, or good old plain white.  But my inner mad scientist wants the periodic table!

It's a fine idea, even if bits of my brain don't even want the word Caesium near a shower curtain...

I wimped out and went for plain white, on shiny metal rail.

Fizz fizz boom. :)

There is a company who will print what you want. But that could get hellaciously Rule 34. I can't stop thinking of the movie Birdcage, the decor in that house -- and adding a shower that's a repeat of Michaelangelo's David or some Mapplethorpe...

How about plain, stylish shower curtain - and periodic table toothmug?

But I already use a lab measuring cylinder as a toothmug...

(They sell 'em in Ikea's glassware section, for some reason!)

Well, the Periodic Table does happen to be EVA, which is a bonus. If it doesn't clash...

We've got that shower curtain. It's ace.

You've got the periodic table shower curtain? Damn, now I just can't! It would be like the same frock, only in a cleansing context... :)

Anything you want printed? Like, a headless female torso and the upper part clear? Or a Giger alien? Or a German verb table? Or a collage of polaroids? Wow.

Only thing is, are they still washable?

They seem to be, yes. I don't think you get clear; full colour on white. Man, I could mess with people's heads with the right stuff. Look! Swimming elephants and cute family photos...

Mind you, they are ball-shrinkingly expensive. My urge for a Gray's Anatomy engraving shower curtain is curtailed by the credit crunch and common sense.

Not nearly as cool but quite a lot cheaper: world map shower curtain (http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-7972.aspx).

World domination: Every little helps.
