Not one for taking it easy are you?

I'll do one where I'm really leathering it some time...

How fast is "leathering"?

I hit 61.3kmh last night coming down the berg, which is a personal brown trouser best for me. My arms felt like they were being jolted from my sockets, and the curve at the end of the 5km was frightening - it had tram tracks across it. Thanks god it was dry :-)

That'll do :)

Flattish rolling course for me tonight. Aiming for anything sub-30 minute.

138 viewings so far.
Have you looked at your own work a lot, or do too many people have too much time on their hands?.....Actually forget I asked that.

What software did you use for that in the end?

My heart was in my mouth at the sharp right hander at the bottom of the hill. How close to the kerb did you get?

Pff, kissing-close. Racing line. The video really does make everything look a lot closer and faster than it is. Just wait til I find some real traffic. You should see Ravenbait. Love to cam her up, she makes me look like Miss Marple when it comes to traffic jamming. And Charlotte, heh, she's a nutter. Must strap cams to ladies in lycra...

As for software, that's Microsoft Movie Maker, which was free with my lappy. Upsides: free; quite clever import tool (it guesses where to cut shots); easy subtitles and soundtrack stuff. Downsides: simple - Fisher Price video if you're "serious"; one soundtrack at one time; once you enter titles, you can't apply a style to all so changing is a faff (I need bigger, clearer subtitles next time); restricted to WMV or pimpy DVD output, no MP3 (but that doesn't matter if you're just uploading to YouTube).
