I enjoyed Death Proof a bit more. But seeing Snake crying like a little bitch when a bunch of girls pulled him from the car just about made my month. The one other female in the theater let out a little shriek of glee too. But none of the guys were happy. So maybe that's where the extra star went.
That and I took one away from Planet Terror for repeated threats of rape by Quentin Tarantino, who is icky enough *without* being a mutant goo zombie.
In the US they released together, with a bunch of schlocky fakery in between. (which wasn't too bad) I hope I didn't spoil it for you.
I've not met any men who liked Death Proof, unless they've got a real fetish for womens feet. All the men filed out afterwards muttering. But I live in a pretty backwards town full of fake cowboys, so that skews the view.
The star went for that one thing... it just really squicked me. eyw something about that man makes my skin crawl.
He just needs to stay Behind the camera where he's more worthwhile. Not all actors can direct... not all directors can act. It isn't the ugly or the pudge, it's the Quintenness. icky
