Years ago I used to co-run Cthulhu Live.  Just so you know, this is what I always wanted to do.  See, aesthetically, I'm with del Toro, not Mignola.  Less is not more.  More is more.  Much more, that's even more.  And a building stuffed full of writhing Cyclopean insanity, that's even more than that.  (link)

And following the url - just look at those gnarly tooth fairies! Have you seen the Angel of Death too? It reminds me of the scary thing that held its eyes from Pan's Labyrinth.

I do like Mignola's less is more style too though. A lot.

Silly Mike. Less may be more in comic books, but if we're going to a movie with monsters, we want to see some monsters. I think Mignola and del Toro together is magic.
