Everyone loves some Hubble pr0n, and this is a goodie.  It's an eye in the sky!

In fact, this is two galaxies: the yellow centre is a galaxy about 2.2 billion light-years away.  The blue arcs... they're a galaxy immediately behind it, about 11 billion light-years away.  The arc effect is caused by gravitational lensing.  Just another bit of jaw-dropping awesomeness in this big ol' universe.  (More detail at badastronomy.com)
