Space Lasers 0.1 and a Fudge Dalek

You know my fetish for space-based solar power as the "Energy Manhattan Project" which might just save people's arses from a whole load of eco-badness.  It looks as if there's a chance for a proof-of-concept demonstrator project on one of the Palau islands, according to this report from the AP.  Combine that with the new carbon nanogoodness printed solar panels (very efficient, very very cheap) and that project might have wings.  Palau's flag?  A field celeste with a golden sun centre.
