The Sun have truly jumped the shark today, with the headline "Paedo Heaven On Our High Street".  Yes, the Sun, that throwawy trash which thrives on naughty-schoolgirl half-naked models and celeb upskirt gossip, is taking Primark to task for selling inappropriately sexy kidswear.  The paper that launched Sam Fox's modelling career on her sixteenth birthday, mind (they'd been grooming her up until then).  The "it's just a bit of cheeky fun" defence has been used for both, after all.

Pop quiz, hotshots: who has done most to inappropriately sexualize the high street?

Not sure it's jumping the shark, since that implies it's the beginning of the end for the Sun, which I some how doubt (history may prove me wrong).

And frankly their outrage is warrented in this case, if somewhat overblown.

But yes, overall point very valid.

Oh, for sure, dressing preteens in Playboy tat is Parenting: You're Doing It Wrong.

But the Sun calling them out on it is a bit like the Pope saying "naughty kiddy fiddler."
