andygatesThere is nothing so soothing as working on bicycles. Even with the wrinkles, the aggravation, and the ticking clock, working on bicycles is - for me, at least - a meditative Flow activity. Take these bits off, clean those bits, reassemble these other bits. Everything is exposed, the rules are simple, and the universe is simply Newtonian.
And when the smell of chain-grease marries with the smell of really good coffee, and a package from Condor plops through the letterbox, all is, truly, right with the world.
