I got to get pills into my cat.  she's sussed the crumble-into-food trick and the hide-in-morsel trick.  There's just one of me: any tips on how to get a small pink pill into a small grumpy cat solo?

Have you tried wrapping her in a towel, trapping the now indignantly semi-mummified cat between your knees, prying her jaw open and posting the pill down it with a biro, and then blowing on her nose to make her swallow?

The blowing-on-the-nose trick, which I got from djinanna and which absolutely works, is the only bit of this I'd recommend.

100% success continues: pill crumbled into slightly wet canned tuna was wolfed (kittened) down. Ta for being the backup brain :)

Well, Bean doesn't really mind being picked up and given pills as long as she isn't tipped upside-down in the process - I think she just regards it as being paid some attention - and hiding the pill in treat food doesn't work on Kosh as the moment she gets ill she stops eating, so we're stuck with wrestle-the-cat more or less by default.

They sold us a pillulizer once. A biro with a pill-grabber on the end.

That didn't work either. :)
