andygatesHeads up if you're wired into the ticking of the cosmic orrery or are convinced that any planetary alignment will boost gravity and suck the (radio-receiving) fillings from your teeth. There's a Grand Conjunction happening right now - Jupiter, Mars, Earth, Mercury, the Sun and the Galactic Centre are all lined up.
According to Wikipedia, "it becomes even more remarkable in that it will be accompanied by the Full Moon (conjunct Mars) at about 2 a.m. on December 24 when a simultaneous Venus square Neptune occurs. It is even more remarkable in that the Pluto/Sun conjunction appears exactly on the Winter Solstice, just past conjunction with the Galactic Centre."
A Pluto/Sun conjunction with a full moon and Solstice? I'll see your Mercury retrograde, hippies, and raise you to total symbolical pwnage. Pew pew pew!
Mystics and Skeksis will be reunified, Space Mayans will come rappelling out of portals over the high mountains of Guatemala, the Earth will plunge into the Sun and be consumed in redeeming fire, und so weiter. Assuming are not all consumed in the bale-fires of our unmasked lizard overlords, the conjunction will happen again in 2060, so some of you might be around to survive its wrath a second time.
