So, is anyone convinced that the Americans' reason to shoot down a lame spy satellite - to save us from its nasty toxic hydrazine fuel - is anything other than the skimpiest cover story ever?  I mean, it's just a volatile.  If it landed on a school the toxic effects would still be secondary to the impact damage, and that's trivial. 

No, this shot is about protecting Secret Squirrel technology and equally about proving that they're just as badass in space as the satellite-killing Chinese.  Nobody loves a good cold war like the military, eh?  You get all the funding of a real war, and you don't have to get shot.

It'll be hilarious if they miss.

I am biased of course, but I suspect they wont miss. Why? Because if we are going to be into conspiracy theories, then the US is trying to show off how superior their missle firing capabilities are. I mean what good is it if you miss? Then all the other kids in the school yard point and laugh at you.

I'm really ok with a minivan not crashing into my or anyone elses house. So if it gives them a stiffy to do it let them enjoy their moment. The problem will be if they miss. Where does that missle go?

What work are you doing? I've been known to do home repairs and I'd really rather do that then clean anyway. Mostly when I say help me paint I mean help me consume wine while rolling a brush over and noncovered flat surface. Katebush has said he'd tape up but not paint. of course we are not allowed to paint the cats and use them as brushes.

i still think they'll get the shot. I mean they have three chances.
