Shh, listen carfully. That fluttering? It's the fuck-up fairy hovering just off-shot waiting to pounce. Little bastard. Just flittering around like that will distract a fellow into signing the wrong thing and committing to buying eighty years' worth of fire extinguishers for the weird guy two floors above me.

I hate this bit. I can do it for cutting metal or fabric, I can just about do it for going over the edge on a rope, but when it comes to legal stuff - well, legal stuff is like radiation. Deadly but invisible.

Need to have a nice long chat with my solicitors tomorrow. Gah.

It's a flat, so there's a management company who look after the shared stuff. The owners of the flats are leaseholders; the freehold is owned by the management company. The management company is owned in equal shares by the leaseholders. The other leaseholders are landlords letting to local low-rent types; I'm the only live-in owner. It's... complicated. And not bicycles or explosives complicated, but the kind of complicated that just makes me cross.

Anyway, it's also signed and sent. I can always sell up later on. Or rent it out..!
