Ah, it's that time of year again, when the entertainment and commercial space is slathered with so much pink it looks like a surgical procedure and most forums are full of huggy blether.  Not that I begrudge it, not really: I am a genuinely happy confirmed bachelor.  But my play-along primate genes sulk even so.  Solution: lots of Olympic sport and old classic horror movies.

Everyone loves a mashup so here's the rose-crowned skull of St Valentine himself, patron saint of restaurateurs and florists and card-printers, from the Basilica of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, in Rome.  Watch out.  Love bites!

Seen it already. What I couldn't help but notice is that when the girls are sick they get to it anyway, but it didn't take much to get the men to sit it out and lie around complaining about how ill they were feeling ;p

Didn't tell you that I'd seen it or that I wanted to apply? If it had been any good I'd have told you, but I thought it was just a little dull. Plus: saggy boobies! I couldn't help but note that the tribeswomen did not have the advantage of sports bras, which I thought was a little unfair.
