Motor Insurance Fantasy

The Meerkat and the Admiral and the Hastings knight and that awful tenor are all gaffer-taped to chairs in a cold, deserted warehouse somewhere.  A couple of bare bulbs swing.  And I get to pace in front of them with their quote sheets and a two-by-four, giving it a swing before looking into their eyes and giving it some London snarl:  "Right! Which of you cahnts is trying to rip me off?"

I hate buying insurance. I especially hate when my current insurer randomly ups the premium. The hate reaches "I'm so annoyed I could blog about it!" levels when the salesdroid gets pissy about my reluctance to shovel money into his corporate maw.

Andy, dear, they're all trying to rip you off. And me, and everyone else. I managed to be quoted nearly £1100 to insure a 20+ year-old motorbike; strangely enough, I didn't go for it!
