The Suffolk Strangler (for 'tis he!) is working his way through 'em at a fearful rate: three dead, two missing.  How many will he total out at before the police catch him?  

I'm going for nine, working on the idea that this murderous loony will move once before being caught and he's got a couple under the patio or in the fridge.  Any takers?

It's a copycat of the Swaffham Strangler from the Wilt books. I reckon he'll do 5 before he gets sloppy. If he's smart he doesn't live in Suffolk and can bacnk on police politics not helping inter-force cooperation.

I can't believe that he's straight in at 5 in 10 days. There has to be history here. On the other hand I've got to think that he'll be caught soon. 5 in 10 days from the same location just leaves too much evidence out there for the police to uncover.
So I'll go for 11.

Police have confirmed they're looking at four more possibly related murders. Which bumps it to 9. Dammit.

I think they're being very pessimistic though. One forensic psychologist chappy has declared that when he runs out of prostitutes he'll start killing other women. He doesn't seem to think they'll catch him.
