I'd forgotten how much fun getting pierced was!  Today's wound was a septum, because I've got a few days off work to let it heal, and I fancy a bone through my nose.  Yes, it hurt, though compared to the PA it was snuggled into place by fluffy kittens.
The lovely Jess soothed me by playing to a weakness: she had monster feet on.  Big fluffy green ones.  Then she grabbed my conk with forceps and stuck a needle through the leathery flesh in time-honoured tradition.

Just how big is a raccoon's baculum? And do you really want to be haunted by an enraged ghostly racoon?

All the bacula you could ever want (I don't think that's an overstatement) at SkullsUnlimited: http://www.skullsunlimited.com/baculums.html

Raccoons, it turns out, are *hung*. But lookit the other species! How much pointless testosterone is there, though, in being able to answer "what are you wearing in your nose" with "a wolverine's cock-bone" ?

Have you seen the SIZE of the walrus one? It's nearly two feet long! There is a limit to the stupid things I'll do for a giggle, you know...

...I wonder if you can get carbon-fibre hydrofoil nose-bones?

"Although some items offered require CITES permits, no specimen sold by Skulls Unlimited International are an endangered species."

That's CITES, the Convention on Trade in Endangered Species.

best to stick to harvesting bones from roadkill, I reckon.
