Stumbled across this pic over on the C+ forum. Qi Tang, Chinese paralympian track cyclist. And yeah, that's just one leg. Bike racing? One leg? World record 500m sprint? Like the advert says, "impossible is nothing."(from here, and in the forum's mandatory "hotties in lycra" thread, no less)
Makes me feel rather feeble about sitting here wallowing in man-flu yet again, that's for sure. But since yesterday was lactate-threshold agony with a heart-rate barely out of resting, I think that old lung efficiency thing is back. Got 32 miles in anyway, but bah and buggery and arse.
