I just picked Kosh up and waved her at the screen going 'that's your sister!' She wasn't very impressed.

Chortle. What confuses me is that she has perfectly clear eyes but every time a flash goes off, they look like glaucous pondwater. How old are these damn beasts now, anyway?

Nine - Kosh's official birthday is April 10 1998, though that's an approximation based on how old the vet thought she probably was when I first took her in for jabs.

She is wandering up and down the landing squeaking pathetically as I type this - it's the 'whiny grunt - mew' combo that means 'please let me in somewhere' but since all the doors are open I can only imagine that either she wants a drawer opened so she can go and sulk in it or she wants to be let out of the window.

Do you think the eye problem could be something to do with reflective cat retinas?

I think the eye problem is clumsy use of the flash - clever use with a flash to one side would avoid it - and frankly just her inner evil seeping out into the world.

To be honest, it's not so much the cute cats as the actual phrase "I can has cheezburger?" that's wedged itself in my brain. As is so often the case, you're on your own as to whether you think this is better, worse, or dead even.
