While my trusty Suunto was being fixed, I started looking for pocket watches.  Turns out there are a staggering number and the complexities of the nice ones are ripe to make your average geek squee with engineering delight right before he rips out the guts and installs a USB thumb drive.  Mmm, tourbillon.  Mmm, fusee.  Flee before the cheap Chinese movements!

But you know what else there is in pocket-watch land?  There's Hello Kitty, that's what.

Would it be ironic, kitch or just tacky to pull that out at the lights once you skid to a halt on your pennyfakething?  Oh, the dilemma!

Of course, one piece of Kitty tat leads to another, and lo, to the mythical, limited-edition, good-gods-they-aren't-really-are-they Hello Kitty Vibrators.  Go on, someone, buy them, just so I can believe they're real.

They're real. I've seen one.

While this isn't the first one, it's proof that Hello Kitty fans love Kitty so much, they're willing to declare it as they motor about town.

But in all seriousness, it'd be best to keep accessories such as the one you've mentioned with you whenever you're riding this.

The pocket watch looks like a combination pocket watch and padlock. Which seems unlikely, but then, so does a Hello Kitty pocket watch, so my intuitions are apparently at odds with reality on this issue.

Reality is sadly lacking a Heterodyne trilobite pocket watch; we'll have to take what we can find.
