Nickelback: Rockstar.  A dumb singalong "list song" that's topping the charts now: the list is all of the cool aspirational idiot stuff that rockstars are suppose to do.  What does the radio edit do?  Bleep "drugs".  So, according to them, it's okay to be a fake, a sex maniac, a thug, a barfly, anorexic, scrounging, hyperconsuming, sex-mad, shallower than a monolayer at low vapour pressure and to pop your pills from a Pez dispenser (best line in the song) ... but even though everybody's got a drug-dealer on speed-dial, the [BLEEP]s are cheap.

Radio edits: Proving how dumb the moral majority are ever since the '80s.

I've been playing bleep bingo with this one on the music channels. Some of them bleep "drugs", some of them bleep "drug-dealer" as well, at least one of them has bleeped the Pez dispenser line although this may only apply to daytime viewing, and and one of them is fine with all the drug references but bleeps out "ass" in the beat up assholes line... I do not understand the reasoning behind of any of this.

I don't often listen to the radio, so I don't think I've ever actually heard that song. But I had a friend in high school that kept her "calm down pills" in a snoopy Pez dispenser.
One of the day shift nurses keeps doses of nicotine chewing gum cut in half for bad days. They fit perfectly in her little nurse head Pez dispenser. Watching her snap one out with her teeth when she's pissed off is pretty intimidating.
