Rez/shamen. Dawn run thoughts...
Jan. 15th, 2007 07:15 amI swear, the designers of Rez are Shamen fans. Running in the dark with traffic and dawn-glow, Librae Solidi Denari from Boss Drum could be straight from the sountrack. I was even chasing an eye-cursor over the kerbstones to the sound of the hi-hat.

Date: 2007-01-15 12:18 pm (UTC)I've since purchased it (yay Ebay!), and in his typical cyborg fashion, Martin crunched through the game and unlocked most of the extras. He really likes it, and I'm a fan of it too. I love the music - though in Beyond and the 5th level some of the music is a little too chilled out for what you're supposed to do.
Have you seen the Wikipedia entry, and the bit about the Trance Vibrator!
Martin and I actually sat through a Google Video of Area 5 game footage, which shows 100% Shot Down, Support Item and Analyzation! It was obvious from the video that the person must have completed Level 5 hundreds of times to get such perfect timing. It's also a great way to pick up some strategic tips for that section.

Excuse me while I get a bit excited by the idea of a Wii synaesthesia game which might sync movement as well as sound effects, music, visuals and thump. Something between DDR and t'ai chi? Squizzle, goes my inner geek.

Dreams do come true.
