I swear, the designers of Rez are Shamen fans.  Running in the dark with traffic and dawn-glow, Librae Solidi Denari from Boss Drum could be straight from the sountrack.  I was even chasing an eye-cursor over the kerbstones to the sound of the hi-hat.

Excuse me while I get a bit excited by the idea of a Wii synaesthesia game which might sync movement as well as sound effects, music, visuals and thump. Something between DDR and t'ai chi? Squizzle, goes my inner geek.

Last I heard Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the design genius behind Rez (which I have been telling people forever is one of the best pure video games ever made) is working on a new Rez for PS3 and Wii.

With the castration of the Yak Minter's light synth madness into a game free fiddlestick, I thought such persuits were a thing of the past.

Dreams do come true.
