New toy!

Oh dear, my new toy arrived. This is the one time you'll see me looking coltish and gangly so laugh it up; before you know it I'll be vaulting cars and bounding like some parkour cyborg. Or, more likely, in Casualty having a shattered wrist pinned back together...

Getting off wasn't too bad - I got back onto the van seat. There are tricks for getting up and down from the floor which will be useful soon!

Pads and helmet bought. Alas, the helmet is a matte grey potty - so it looks like a Wermacht infantry hat.

I need a foam-rubber spike.
