Because really, Tokyo Gore Police looks like it makes far too much sense what with being a carnage-fest.  We understand carnage-fests, and the crocodile girl and the eyes-in-test-tubes girl and the absolute hosing of gore is pretty much sensible.  Linear.  Button-mashy, even.

Is there some meme in operation that causes the Japanese to be so damn weird?  Or is it just that we only pick out the weirdness?  Are the Japanese Anglophiles all sat around watching really niche stuff that only ever got shown at 2am on BBC 3 and thinking, "those British are crazy!" [taptaptap]
